Osho was sent to live with his maternal grandparents after his paternal grandma passes away. March 21, 1953: At early age of 21 Osho attains enlightenment. Osho’s word during that experience “I had been working on myself, suffering, and doing everything that could be done for many lives, but nothing was changing. The effort itself was a barrier. Not that reaching is possible without trying. While searching is necessary, there comes a time when it must be abandoned. And on that day, the hunt came to an end and it began.”
Rajneesh after experienced a spiritual awakening, he chose to abandon his position as a professor at University of Jabalpur. He began traveling throughout India and challenged orthodoxy of mainstream religions and even mainstream political ideas. At that time Osho Rajneesh was suffering from a disease, after on the advice of His own physicians and doctors and due to the potential need for immediate surgery for a degenerative back disease, He decided to the United States. In the same year, He receives an invitation to visit a 64,000-acre property in Oregon from His American disciples a desert area in the state. Eventually, Osho decided to remain and stay in the United States and he submitted an application on behalf of his permanent residency.
Death Of Osho
After living 5 years in Amrica, Osho came back to Mumbai in 1986 and soon chose to reopen his ashram in Poona.
In the Poona Ashram Osho sudden experiences an abnormal pulse in his chest. Doctors wanted him to admit in hospital but Osho responded, “No, please let me go,”. Osho Rajneesh said to everyone, Life determines when it happens.” before leaving the body, Osho told everyone to celebrate his death with singing and dancing.
Osho left this world at 7:00 p.m. and his followers in the year of 19th-January-1990. Remains of his body were taken to the Buddha Auditorium in Gautama for a festive occasion, after which they are cremated by being transported to the flaming pits.
